Last night, I was invited to the annual spring makeup event at Michauds hair & beauty salon. The brand of makeup showcased was Jane Iredale, a mineral cosmetics line. It was a lot of fun, and it was very informative. The face of the line, Ruban, had us all sitting in rows while he was at the front demonstrating on how to put makeup on while offering great tips and answering any questions. The event was filled with a great food spread and some champagne, san pellogrino and fruit garnishes. I even got a great mauve eye-shadow, called ‘Supernova,’ it is beautiful, I cannot wait to try it out! We were also given a few lipstick samples, which I am already liking. I highly recommend this brand of makeup as they have won many awards. Their foundation is a concealer, powder and sunscreen all in one. All of their products are hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested, and even have a recommendation from The Skin Care Foundation. Below are a few pictures of the event.
