As you all know, I am really starting to broaden my horizons with fashion and get into the city I live in and its atmosphere more. I am re-positioning my blog a bit, changing up the style, and the mood. I love fashion still so much, and I am studying it so I definitely still have the passion going, but I also love taking it to a new realm. I am taking more of an interest in the outdoors and trying new things lately. Expect some fun, new and fresh ideas coming your way :). The upcoming season is all about testing your limits, and stepping outside of your comfort zone, so that is what I am trying to do.
This is an example of what I will be re-branding my blog with; this is the Spring/Summer 2013 look book for Burton. I love the casual chic setting of this photo-shoot, and the way the model looks like she is truly enjoying herself and her surroundings. How can one not be happy when they are in the midst of the worlds natural beauty, the ocean, mountains, and forestry is so lush and beautiful, and it is truly authentic which is what I admire.
This is a perfect example of how well Burton situated their look in with the back drop of the field and mountains in the background. The colours that they incorporated work perfectly, and they truly embody what the brand is all about.
One of my favorite shots, the blurred background makes the Burton hoodie stand out, yet it blends perfect with the backdrop of the mountains.
These are great shots from Burton, and the Burton Girls are not only making their style stand out in their photo-shoots, but also in Teen Vogue. Here is the feature from some of the best female snowboarders who are sponsored by Burton: Burton Girls meet Teen Vogue
Hope you enjoyed this post, and expect some fun things coming up.
Thank you Burton for these amazing shots .
