Flower crowns are the it thing right now, because of all the music festivals happening around this time frame, but I think this trend is catching on and isn’t just seen at the festivals. Many people are wearing this trend when they go out with friends, go to concerts/festivals and when they participate in other summer activities.
This is a cute trend and I love that many are rocking it, its such a fun way to showcase your personality. Not to mention, you will almost always have a different crown than someone else because there are so many flowers to ‘pick’ from. Below is a great tutorial from The Zoe Report on how to create your own.
Step 1: Gather your ingredients: floral cloth wire, floral design wire, flowers of your choice, greens and clippers.
Step 2: Measure the head of the person who will wear the wreath with floral cloth wire.
Step 3: Wrap the greens with one piece of continuous design wire around the cloth wire.
Step 4: Trim extra stems.
Step 5: Try on wreath as you go, remove leaves that are out of place or anything that is sticking out too much.
Step 6: Begin adding blooms. Cut the blooms to your desired length.
Step 7: Wire the blooms. Make sure you add wire to each individual flower to secure it in place.
