It’s kind of hard to look stylish when it is constantly raining, but that is precisely why I decided to write a post about just that. Living in Vancouver, one has to be used to the rain, so I hope this post inspires those you are from Vancouver or anywhere else that constantly downpours.

 

Opt for a sleek jacket, slim fitting bottoms like leggings, denim, or dressier pants. For your shoes, rain boots are the obvious choice, but when you have a good umbrella at your disposal, try a cute pair of ankle booties, but make sure yours have grips because you don’t want to go for a ride on the ground. (Trust me, I have done it before and it isn’t pretty!)

 

I love this scarf because it is the perfect amount of colour in my otherwise dark and dreary ensemble, but sometimes you just feel like wearing darker colours to emulate the weather. This infinity scarf is perfect for just that, it makes my outfit seem a bit more cheery, and it is very warm!

 

Layering is what it’s about in this weather, and just because it is darker these days and will continue to get drearier, doesn’t mean your style has to suffer.
