This season is all about layering your pieces as it’s getting colder out, and you want to make sure you dress appropriately for the weather. I always like to start with a key staple item, something that you know will be versatile and comfortable enough to work in with as many pieces as possible. A great knit sweater, basic cotton tee, or cami will work wonders for your wardrobe. These can be worn at the office for casual Fridays, school, or hanging out.
This sweater will be perfect for the upcoming colder weather, because it can be worn with so many different outfits and the colour is versatile for the season too. It is also a high low cut so it will be long enough to pair leggings with.
She was just begging me to take her for a stroll on such a beautiful autumn day.
Working a plaid shirt and infiniti scarf into your wardrobe is a good idea to add extra warmth when needed. Plaid is in for yet another season, as previously mentioned in my plaid trend report post. For more ways to wear it, check it out here
Finish the look off with a leather jacket as your last layering piece. A great jacket in a black or a warm brown is the perfect fall staple.

Scarves and flannel basically comprise my entire wardrobe for fall… I'm from Florida, so I can't exactly "layer" just yet, but this was a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing 🙂 Stopping by from the GFC Collective, and I'd love for you to drop by my blog if you get the chance. Hope you have a fabulous rest of your weekend!
