World Whistler Ski & Snowboard Festival | Event Coverage | Part 1

I was graciously invited to attend the annual World Whistler Ski & Snowboard Festival in which I was representing my blog as media for the event. I had an amazing time which wasn’t surprising as this festival was awesome last year too. The festival is the biggest annual gathering of winter sports, music, arts and culture in North America. The nightlife is fabulous, the events including snowboarding, skiing and movie screenings are all apart of what makes this festival such a good time.

I was graciously given the opportunity to tour the peak-to-peak gondola in Whistler, if you haven’t done it, I highly recommend it as its breath taking and the views are stunning. Once you get off the gondola you are allowed to walk around the mountain where many skiers and snowboarders alike are in the midst of going down the mountain, you can also enjoy some beverages and delicious food at the restaurant at the top of the peak. The mountains are what Whistler is known for and I am so happy to be only hours away from it.

I was fortunate enough to use Olympus cameras including the new award winning E-M10 16MP Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera and the TG-850 Tough Waterproof Digital Camera. These cameras took very high quality photos, were pretty easy to maneuver and use and made the experience that much better.
