I am adoring the tropical trend as of late. With having seen many bloggers rocking this trend, its safe to say I am jumping on this leafy bandwagon (see what I did there?) To make this trend office appropriate without looking too trendy and out of place, (we have been there haven’t we?) than pick up a subtle tropical piece and follow pairing it with a neutral piece to create that ultimate chic-but-on-trend look.
With being so into basics lately, I think its still important to keep up with the latest trends and if you’re feeling them, than why not work them into your office attire. I don’t think theres anything wrong with making a subtle statement in the workplace. This trend can be taken from work to after hours drinks with friends easily by taking your blazer off, maybe switching your heels and adding a cross body bag.
Basics are great, but its nice to play around with trends once in awhile if they intrigue you. Who says the office has to be boring right?

Love this post! I also love the fruit/ pineapple trend this summer which kind of goes along with the tropical trend idea. XOXO, Nicole @ Empire Styles (www.empirestyles.com)
