LBD | Day To Night

I found the perfect LBD the other day and it was astonishing to me to see how many outfits I could make just with the use of a crop top and multiple accessories. I wanted to showcase how versatile this dress really is with styling a look that can go from the office during the daytime and after work drinks at night.

This dress is professional because of the higher neckline and the knee length but it is also sexy because of the slit and the use of the leather detailing. This dress can be worn in the winter with tights and booties, or can be rocked during the warmer season with stilettos and shades.

For the office, pair this dress with easy to walk in pointed toe shoes, a big neutral bag to carry all your important documents in and minimal makeup. When trying to dress up a basic black dress for the nighttime, opt for colourful accessories that make an impact, grab a matching coloured purse and choose a neutral shoe to balance the look out.

When going from work to play, don’t stress, take it easy on the hair and makeup and play around with pieces you wouldn’t normally wear, this crop top from H&M (score!) was a last minute impulse buy and I am so happy I picked it up because I have already worn it with multiple ensembles. To me it just screamed out luxury designer with its boxy silhouette and its sheer black and white floral design.
