Travel Bug

Lately I have been experiencing the ever prominent travel bug. I feel like I need to explore, but I know that I have to keep in mind my priorities. These being, school, work and well, saving money for said school. I know that in due time I will get to travel but I have to be mindful and enjoy my current surroundings. And hey, being in Vancouver I am not exactly stripped of adventure and beauty.

In the meantime, I am keeping inspired with a few of my favourite things, the unique vintage map composition notebook comes in handy for my daily thoughts and inspiring words I like to jot down every now and then. The design

isn’t something I come across very often in stores so I definitely took to the liking of it. I feel like notebooks are something of a collection, its inspiring to have a multitude of trinkets around that make you feel good and amp up your living space. Thank you to this wonderful handmade Etsy shop ‘Lizzie Luvs 2 Recycle’ with a beautiful idea behind it of repurposing goods that were previously loved before. I love the concept of taking ones ‘trash’ and turning it into anothers treasure..see below for a snapshot of my particular repurposed good.
