I just love the look of these two patterns mixed together, I like to play it safe when it comes to pattern pairings but when I threw this plaid top over my striped tee it seemed to just work. If you want to try this fearless look out, I would recommend sticking with the same colour stories. Black and white is always great for stripes, and navy as well, you could even switch out the red plaid for a blue because you would be within the same colours for both of your patterns. For a great bottom with this outfit, I chose faux leather leggings as my choice because they’re versatile and add an edgier look to your outfit.
Another trend I am loving right now is knitted headbands. I recently was put in touch with a fabulous local (always good to support your own!) hand-knitted headband brand called Lew Lew Headband. They are currently only available on Instagram (but lets be honest, we all live and breath that darn social network anyways) so I would recommend you checking them out. Great prices and a multitude of colours available with a few different styles too. www.instagram.com/lewlewheadband
It’s so much fun to dress up for the colder weather and one of my biggest things are keeping my ears warm, these versatile headbands do just that and not to mention they look ever so stylish. I could definitely see myself wearing them on the slopes too, ahhh just a few more weeks until some winter sports are back into my life again.

I've been loving headbands like this too! I have yet to purchase one, but I just love the way they look and how warm they are! Also, pattern mixing looks so cute here! 🙂
