After attending the Lush grand re-opening event a few weeks ago, and reviewing some of their best products, I met up with Lush’s team over at Pacific Centre in Vancouver and received the opportunity to try out a few of their newest (and most popular) products. I wanted to share with you my experience using the said products and what better way to do that than to get all sudsy for a bubble bath with Lush? Find out below for my honest reviews.
I tried out the Shampoo Bar and I love it — it’s a crazy good idea, makes your hair look gorgeous, packed full of amazing ingredients and essential oils. (This bar didn’t make my hair feel greasy after use and it was a lot of fun to use too, I used the Brazilliant bar which gives a wonderful citrusy smell!)
The next product I tried out was the Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub — yes it’s not just the name that has me smitten. This body scrub got me all fresh and exfoliated for the day, the sea salt in the scrub buffs away dry skin (which is perfect for the winter season coming our way!)
I then used the BIG Sea Salt Shampoo which is probably one of my favourites. This shampoo is perfect for those with hair that doesn’t get volumized easily (hello, my hair!) After using this product my hair was not only volumized but not greasy at all (because the sea salt is full of minerals that actually de-grease your hair) and I had super soft strands afterwards too. I was pretty amazed with the turnout of this product, it even made my hair shiny. This is a must have product for giving your hair that little boost.
After giving my hair attention, it was time to rejuvenate my skin. I used the best-selling Beautiful Shower Gel which truly makes you feel lovely for the rest of the day. Because of its blend (gold, myrrh, apricot infusion and peach juice) this makes your skin feel and smell wonderful. It also gives you a nice shimmer too, and lets be honest, don’t we all just want to sparkle during the day?
Of course, I couldn’t have a bath without using the original bath bomb, which makes your bath water purple (my favourite colour so I was pretty excited about it!) The burst of fruit awakens your senses and truly makes for a relaxing bath experience.
