The quintessential piece for fall is a statement coat, but I am drawn towards a neutral. This coat is honestly one of the best investments I have ever undoubtably made. (Plus its also only $ so there’s that too.) This coat can be worn with a dress like I have styled in this post or with pants and a top, in this previous post from last year which just goes to show that it lasts.
I love the lapel detailing because it creates more of a glamorous look but the tie gives it a structured look at the same time. I think everyone needs a timeless piece like this in their wardrobe to give it that real authentic inspired effort.
These shoes are also great for fall because since they’re mules they cover a bit more than a typical summer sandal would but with the slits in the design it creates a bit more edge.
The dress I am wearing is one I have been coveting for awhile now, it’s from Aritzia and is one of the most perfect ‘little black dresses’ in my opinion because of how sleek and formal it is but can still be dressed down for the fall with a chunky sweater and booties. The cut is a bit low so I would accessorize it with a bralette for the office and a blazer with tights for a professional but stylish ensemble.
