A trip to the farmer’s market is always a wonderful way to spend your weekend, especially the long weekend because you have that much more time to enjoy your fresh blooms. I picked up a beautiful bouquet of peonies and I am officially obsessed. It’s my first foray into the world of blooms and I can’t get enough, simply stunning. Farmer’s markets are great because you never know what you can find, there’s always so many beautiful trinkets around. The respect I have for the artisans is huge, they are so passionate and pour their lives into what they do, it’s such a beautiful message that when you are passionate about something, nothing can stand in your way. Such a beautiful way to house your peonies! Also, really wishing I picked up hydrangeas too…eek, thinking of making another farmer’s market run next weekend!Speaking of trinkets, I adore these mason jar holders, they are multifunctional as they can serve as bouquet holders, candle holders and even just act as beautiful jars because you always need something pretty to look at. The teal colours are gorgeous, such perfect gifts too. As for my look, I went for a girly but basic (because really, I’m rarely seen in anything else) and used my peonies for the pop of colour in my ensemble. This white lace dress is perfect for spring/summer events, dinner parties and anything else really. I liked to dress it down with the denim jacket for a casual look. My heels have become a recent fav in my wardrobe as of lately, seriously loving lace ups!! Here and here are a few I am dying to add to my collection. For the jewelry, I went with subtle pieces such as the beautiful black and gold bar necklace from Mejuri, have you entered to win it yet? I am giving one of these necklaces away to one of my readers, enter on my Instagram.
