LWD, read: Little White Dresses are all the rage as of late. Well, how could they not be? They’re perfect for summer, hot days (lightweight cotton frocks are the bomb.com!) and of course are so versatile. I have been finding recently that I always resort to white, it’s just a great go-to, ya know?
This dress in particular is amazing, it’s super lightweight for the summer and I just love the dropped waist detail. It’s also very office appropriate too which being a 9-5er is very important. Already planning on donning it with my black blazer, some chic shoes and my tote. I love details, all about them, and this dress has got it goin’ on, the button closure at the neck is alluring but sexy at the same time and I am loving the eyelet cutouts, so chic. The dress has enough details that it doesn’t need too many accessories, it really speaks length to a piece of clothing when you don’t need to over style it. Thus, I went with minimal accessories such as my Daniel Wellington watch, a few of my favourite gold rings and my new nude stilettos.
I am also so excited to pair this dress with many different looks too, for this particular post, I went for a more casual laid-back, farmers market kind of deal (see my actual post to the farmer’s market here) by pairing it with a denim jacket, but you could definitely dress it up for a sexy summer soiree too. Enter, black stiletto sandals, chic handbag and red lippie anyone? This dress could also be worn at the beach with cute espadrilles and a sunhat, the options are endless, and in my book, is just perfect.
