Now that it’s December the weather is starting to get cooler and it’s the season of layering, which means knits and more knits. I am all about chunky sweaters but hate it when they don’t flatter me because they’re too big and bulky. That’s why I’m giving some style tips on how to look chic in sweaters instead of dowdy.
- Pair with sleek bottoms instead of baggy. In my opinion, a chunky knit looks good paired with leather leggings. In my experience, you don’t want to pair them with baggy jeans because it really doesn’t give you that much shape.
- Pair with sleek heels, instead of wearing flat boots or sneakers, pair your sweater with heels to give you a bit more height (gosh knows I need it, and in my opinion really does wonders!).
- Make your sweater look a bit sexier by pairing it with a black lacy bralette. This one is from Adore Me and I love it, it’s honestly come in handy so many times.
And of course, if you need to grab some sweaters for great prices head to SheInside. They have a huge selection of stunning pieces to choose from. I really love this burgundy one I’m wearing because it’s super cozy, soft and thick enough to be worn with a bralette. I hope you feel confident and sure that you will look chic in sweaters for the season ahead.

Great suggestions, I like leggings and heels as well with chunky sweater, short booties with wedge heels work well too.
