I’m all about refurbishing older pieces in my wardrobe to play with the times and the trends of today. I found this older blouse from American Eagle in my closet and I figured I would try to rework it for spring. Read on for my tips below.
I love how long this blouse is because there are so many different ways to wear it and because wearing your blouses off the shoulder is so in right now, I wanted to give it a go. I love the way it pairs with my skirt because it’s a perfect style, not too long and not too short, so I can easily tuck it into the skirt. I also like the look of wearing this top off of one shoulder instead of two, I just think it adds a unique perspective to this outfit. Another thing you could do to jazz up this outfit idea is to pair it with a belt, did you catch my recent accessories post here? I’m all about elevating my looks by changing up my accessories lately.
I was toying around with the idea of pairing this look with my floral pumps seen in this post here, but I love the way a neutral pair elongates your legs. Of course, my trusty Hieleven bucket bag came in handy once again. For this look, I think it’s nice to leave your accessories in a neutral tone. It’s not hard to rework your old blouse if you style it with chic accessories.
How do you rework your old blouses for the new season?
