Even though I’m not going to Coachella this year (sadly) I still wanted to put together a festival-inspired look for all of you who either are going or are attending some kind of festival this year. In my opinion, festival style is really becoming anything you want it to be, it could be tutus paired with crop tops a la Chiara Ferragni or a sexy LBD paired with denim, or in my case, a suede miniskirt with a classic band tee.
I feel this ensemble really brings me to back to my roll ‘n’ roll roots as I like to call them, which really is just a nod to my high school days when I blasted ACDC throughout the halls and wore band tees paired with black booties. I do love how band tees have been resurrected this year though, they’re comfortable and classic, besides, they look great when you wear them with a feminine look like a midi laced skirt too.
Denim jackets are definitely classic pieces for any kind of festival, they’re the perfect outerwear because they’re not too heavy under the hot desert sun but provide enough warmth when it cools down at night. I don’t know if I would pair these mules with this outfit at Coachella itself because I’ve heard you’ll be on your feet all day, but I would definitely rock my white Vans sneakers with this look.
