I recently had the amazing opportunity to partner with Coquitlam Centre, one of my all-time favourite shopping centres (and one that I shop at every weekend), to build my very own capsule wardrobe. In particular, I built a 34-piece capsule wardrobe with a few other amazing bloggers, Bree from The Urban Umbrella and Sharday from Sharday Engel. This was such a fun assignment, we all set out to choose pieces that fit into our idea of a capsule wardrobe, it was so cool because all 3 of us have very different styles and ended up choosing quite different pieces for the same type of look. I decided to pull together my own digital version of a capsule wardrobe. Scroll down to view what I put together as my ideal capsule wardrobe. The 34 item capsule wardrobe.
First off, what is a capsule wardrobe? It’s basically a condensed selection of clothing, including outerwear, accessories, and shoes, made up of items that you truly love, fit you just right and work well within your lifestyle and the season.
These items are pieces I have in my wardrobe and seem to always reach for, take a chiffon cami for instance, this is a piece you can dress up or down. It’s good to have in a few different colours too. I love items that can be worn a multitude of ways, I hope this inspires you to create your own capsule wardrobe. Ps. All of these pieces below are shoppable, simply click on the item and it will take you the retailers website.
