I love that the warmer weather allows me to break out all of my fun summer dresses. This dress, in particular, is perfect for any summer soiree, including an outdoor wedding. There are always a few essentials I never go without. Read on for my 5 fail-proof picks for a summer soiree OOTD.
1.A Flowy Dress Not only are these super comfortable, but they’re flattering on everybody because of the looser fit. Not to mention, you can stuff yourself silly from a BBQ and no one will notice. I love this one in particular because it’s a colour I don’t typically wear that I’m starting to really like.
2. Comfortable but Cute Heels You will likely be standing around at a summer party, so opt for your most comfy pair of heels. These might not look like it, but these heels are very easy to stand in, probably because of the chunky heel. I like going for a neutral because there are so many dresses you can pair them with.3. Reliable Deodorant Pit stains aren’t cute, so why not stash your trusty deodorant in your bag? I’m keeping the party going by bringing along my Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel and my Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid. Both of these provide 2x the sweat protection vs. an ordinary antiperspirant. Whether you’re about to go on a first date, to your boyfriend’s parent’s picnic or for a day at the beach, this is the one essential you need.
4. Big Enough Bag I always like to bring a big enough bag to carry all of the essentials. This bucket bag is great because of how deep it is, you can actually fit quite a lot. If you’re heading to the beach, I’d recommend going for one of these straw totes that are all the rage right now.
5. Denim Jacket Because who knows how long your summer adventures will last? You don’t want to be a spoil sport shivering in the corner when you could be enjoying yourself. Grab a denim jacket and put it aside for the evening. A denim jacket is light enough to carry around but the perfect layering piece as the day cools down. Currently coveting this one with the pearls.
And there you have it, my 5 fail-proof outfit essentials to rock your next summer soiree with confidence.

Great tips pretty lady. That pretty floral maxi with the ruching is so pretty and flattering on you and it can be dressed up or dressed down. Love the bag too and I am currently carrying a black one that is almost identical. I also love a good nude shoe and your sandals are great!
