It’s no secret that the denim skirt has made its revival this year, so of course, I had to jump on the bandwagon. Enter, this beauty of an asymmetrical skirt from GUESS. I love everything about this beauty, read on for tips on how to bring that infamous mini denim skirt back.
1.The Fit
Make sure your skirt is not too tight, this is a biggie because it will help distinguish you from coming across like you’re trying too hard to fit in (literally). The fit of this skirt is perfect because it’s not too short and it’s not too tight either. You don’t want your skin to be peeking over the edge.
2. The Accessories
Keep your accessories minimal, you don’t want to across too flashy. These chunky nude heels are perfect for the summer because they’re comfortable with the thicker heel and wearing nude shoes always elongates the legs.
3. The Top
Choose a top that’s on the shorter side because then you won’t be taking away from the skirt. This white blouse from GUESS is perfect because it doesn’t hide the bottom.
4. The Style
To make sure you’re with the times and not stuck back in high school, opt for a piece that’s on the trendier side. An example of this would be the skirt that I’m wearing because it’s asymmetrical. I love how edgy this style is, yet still classic. If you’re not feeling the asymmetrical vibes, you could even pick up an embroidered style like this cute floral one.
