What better way to sip through summer days than with a refreshing (and delicious) cocktail recipe? I’m sharing how to make a sweet cocktail perfect for your sleepy Sunday mornings.
The great thing about this recipe is it doesn’t take long to make, you likely have the ingredients already and it’s super refreshing on those balmy summer days.
I’m a huge fan of lavender (I sleep with it on my bedside table) and I didn’t realize how delicious it is in cocktails.
The Late Riser Smooth White Cocktail
Ingredients:
One chilled bottle of Smooth Wine (My favourite is Unreserved Wine—it’s not too sweet and it’s cheap & cheerful)
Pineapple juice
Fresh or canned pineapple
Soda water (Perrier for me, please!)
A fresh lime or lemon
Fresh mint
Directions:
Chill your Smooth White in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Fill up your cup with half-full Smooth White. Top up the glass with about 1/4 cup of pineapple juice and add a touch of soda water to taste. Add a good squeeze of fresh lime or lemon and top the rim with a slice of fresh pineapple. Throw in a cute straw and start your morning off. Oh, and don’t forget the fresh mint!
This is a delicious morning drink to start your day off right. Not too strong, just enough to get you going for a fun day ahead.
What’s your go-to summer drink? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you to Unreserved Wine for the recipe.
