I don’t know what it is, but I’m such a sucker for a silk dress. They’re so comfortable and actually quite versatile if you think about it. You wouldn’t realize it but you can actually wear a silk dress in the colder seasons too. Continue reading for my style tips on how to wear this silk number.
For summer, this dress is perfect, it’s lightweight, comfortable and pretty. The blush pink is great for the summer and the floral works well, too. I simply grabbed my favourite mules, go-to Gucci bag and my denim jacket for this look. It’s an easy look that you can throw together in a pinch and the belt was a great add-on to help give me some shape.
Keep the colours neutral, that way your dress can be the real focus. Also, you don’t want too many competing colours because you want to keep this look chic and classy.
For the fall, I’m definitely grabbing my favourite chunky knit and throwing it over. On colder days, I’m planning on wearing this dress as a skirt (pretending anyways, no one will know what’s under there).
If you wanted to, you could add some tights for those extra chilly days (hard to think about right now, isn’t it?)
