Red is it this season and I’m going all in. This isn’t a colour that’s in my wardrobe often, but this year I’m making it my business to step outside of my style comfort zone.
Red is such a power colour, so whenever you wear it, rock it with an attitude. This red off the shoulder top is perfect for embracing the trend. It’s not too much and it’s a piece that’s seriously versatile.
I can’t stop wearing my mom jeans (but you already knew that, didn’t you?) so of course, I paired this bad boy top with them. This top would also look killer with a pencil skirt, heels and a blazer for the office. If you want to be super trendy, you could even pick up a plaid blazer like this one and pair it with a pair of jeans and there you go, 2017 trends in all its form.
Because I really wanted my top to pop, I paired it with neutral accessories. I’m loving this tiny bag from the Who What Wear x Target collection, even though it’s tiny, it’s super cute.
Red may sound scary to some (it did to me at first) so start small like I did.
