The Best Travel Beauty Products from Murale

Traveling is a lot of fun, but there’s also a lot to think about when packing and getting ready to go somewhere. I’m off on a quick weekend getaway in a matter of weeks, so I wanted to share my tried and true beauty products and a few new ones I’ve picked up along the way.

Because I typically travel via carry on, I have to be cognizant of the products I take with me on the plane. I want to make sure everything fits into my travel makeup bag.

Murale, Canada’s beauty destination and boutique shop, just launched their Spring Fab and Free Gift with Purchase today in stores. I have always loved the gift with purchases because you get to try so many products. I remember going into Murale when I was in high school and stocking up on my fave products after having hoarded my Optimum points! And if I was lucky, there would be a gift with purchase happening so it would be a major score! I’m such a sucker for anything sample sized and it’s because of these that I have found some true favourites I’ve been using for years.

On my latest visit to Murale, I picked up a few favourites that I needed to stock up on and in return, got my gift with purchase tote filled to the brim with goodies.

Lipstick:

Lipstick is a true necessity for me, and if you’ve been following along, you would know how much I’ve been loving Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in the colour Baci. Not only did I pick up a new one to replace my old one with, but I received the exact same one in sample size. Yay!

Serum:

I can’t go a day without serum and I love that this one from MyChelle (another longstanding favourite skincare brand) has a Vitamin C formula. Who doesn’t want a brighter complexion, especially when traveling?

Mascara:

I love trying new mascaras and have been loving this volumizing clump-free mascara from Juice Beauty. This is a must for giving your eyes some life after a long flight.

Primer:

I think Murale read my mind because I’m running out of my Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. So happy I got a travel sized one in my tote. For me, a good primer is everything. This primer, in particular, creates such a smooth base for your foundation. It makes it last longer so you don’t have to keep reapplying while on vacay.

Highlighter:

I never go without highlighter anymore. This product from Rodial is a Banana Powder that does double duty. It acts as a subtle highlighter and corrects surface redness and pink undertones to create a mattified and flawless look. Also, just really love the name of this too.
