Back to school is back and chicer than ever. It doesn’t matter what stage I’m at in life, September will always symbolize the start of the school (or work) year. Haven’t you heard that September is the new January, after all? With every start of a new season comes new swag. Continue reading for how to get organized for back to school.

Organize Your Space
Whether you’re using your desk for homework or work, a tidy desk is everything. Clear out your desk before the semester (or new work quarter) starts. Get rid of loose papers or put them into a file folder and stash them someplace safe. Dust your desk while you’re at it and get rid of those crumbs and coffee stains.

Pick Up a New Planner
How people stay on top of things without using a hard copy planner is beyond me. I’m super old school, so something I can write on is a must. I picked up this super handy (and cute) TUL® Student Planner from Office Depot. This planner helps me stay on top of things because it includes page markers, pocket dividers, ruler and even some fun stickers to remind you of important dates.

Write it Down
To-do lists are one of my absolute musts when it comes to being productive. Again, there’s just something about writing things down for me that I resonate with. It’s fun to switch things up and that’s why I love my TUL® Brights Gel Pens from Office Depot. These are quick drying so they don’t smudge or smear everywhere and they’re super smooth, so your written ideas are both precise and balanced. I also can’t live without a notebook and seem to go through them so quickly. Thankfully, Office Depot has a huge section to choose from. I picked up the Office Depot® Brand Reversible Sequin Notebook which is both eye-catching and stylish.

Storage is Everything
Storage is the be all and end all in a small space, especially a dorm. Because I know the school year requires traveling, you’ll want to keep your things packed perfectly when visiting your parents or going on a much-awaited Spring Break vacay. That’s why I love the See Jane Work® line exclusively at Office Depot. In particular, I love using the See Jane Work Going Places Hot Tools Pouch with Navy Stripes because it’s perfect for the girl on the go. You can easily hold a warm curling iron or hair straightener and it even comes with a strap to allow for easy and efficient hanging. Also, if you’re low on space, pick up some containers that fit under your bed, it’s a great solution.
So, are you excited for the new season ahead? There are so many amazing and stylish products out these days, so take advantage and spruce up your space in style. Office Depot and OfficeMax are offering tons of trendy supplies for college students, so make sure to stop by.

This is such a lovely guide dear. Planners indeed are quite helpful, they say when you write things down, you can actually remember it better.
