As I mentioned before, I was going to add onto the first half of my World Whistler Ski & Snowboard Festival experience and here it is. I will still add more after this post because there is much to cover in terms of various events and activities. I wanted to create a separate post documenting the Shred Show to give you some insight on what actually goes down at this sweet annual festival.
The Shred Show is a snowboarding competition based off of different categories of events such as Slopestyle, Boarderstyle and Big Air. I was fortunate enough to experience this Shred Show where the worlds best snowboarders and skiers alike get together to face off against one another in competition for cash prizes. The crowd was at capacity and the energy was high, everyone was happy, bundled up and excited to be there. This show was invigorating and showcased so much talent in a short span of time. These athletes are without a doubt so talented, they really tear up the slopes in terms of style and creativity with their runs. I want to once again thank Whistler, Monster Energy for sponsoring and Whistler Blackcomb for holding these awesome competitions.
