Neutral State

I love trying new things and lately I am all about mixing different colours that wouldn’t normally pair nicely together. I would think that normally brown and grey shouldn’t be worn together but if you be careful with choosing the right pieces for these colours it makes all the words difference.

I liked pairing my grey soft tee from Old Navy with my new Leading Lady Lace shorts which are white and perfect for the Summer. These shorts are from an online boutique called Flourish Boutique which carries the cutest clothing for great prices! I thought to make this outfit combination a bit more interesting it would be wise to pair it with an unlikely colour for the accessories, this said unlikely colour is brown. I incorporated it with my brown and white Kate Spade cross body and my Steve Madden wedges. I think it worked well and I am so excited to try out some more unexpected colour combinations.

I just love the jewelery I am wearing in this post too, this dainty spade necklace is from a wonderful online store on Etsy called Mes 2 Petites Etoiles which translated in French means my little star. I love it and have gotten so many compliments on the design and simplicity of it. I’m very much into dainty pieces of jewelry atm because they are so easy to pair and you can wear them to the beach without looking like you’re trying too hard. I also adore that you can layer them too.
