Cobalt Blue

These shorts are a recent purchase from Garage, they are such a vivid blue that I am totally feeling – just so unique. I love how they’re high waisted but the shade gives them an authentic look. I paired them with a simple grey tee from Old Navy which I can’t stop wearing and my go-to gold y shaped necklace from Kitsch. I have been finding the coolest murals as of late and they really make my photos pop, its actually very interesting to explore around your area in places you never knew existed.

I have said it before and I promise you I will say it again, basics are the best. There are so many ways a person can incorporate basics into their everyday wardrobe, be it with a work ensemble or a weekend outfit, basic cotton tees are the perfect staple pieces. I am also having a fit with neutral colours lately, while I do appreciate a great colour (like my orange ensemble before this post here!) but theres something about greys, creams, whites, blacks and this season’s it shade navy. I can’t wait to buy some fall pieces and I also can’t wait to try out transitioning my summer clothes to fall appropriate outfits.
