New Years Eve Look | Sequins Style

Loving this time of year, and especially because you can get away with wearing sequins over and over again. This dress is the perfect amount of sparkle in my opinion, not too much where I appear too flashy and overdone, just the right amount. It’s a classy cut for a fun night out, perfect for pairing with simplistic Kate Spade bangles (her eponymous Spade symbol is the right amount of accessories for any fancy look.)

I went with a nude pair of pumps from Spring that seem to work again and again in various ensembles, you could also try a red pair if you’re feeling more daring or a black strappy stiletto too. A black clutch was paired with this ensemble from Bvlgari which I think makes an impeccable statement with the gold embossed Bvlgari brand showcased. Makeup was simple but elegant, long lashes from Younique’s 3D Mascara line (amazing brand, I have never experienced fuller lashes that appear like false lashes before!) Went with some neutral shimmer on the eyelids, and of course a dark lip courtesy of Smashbox.

The curls are courtesy of my latest and greatest hot tool collection, called the KISS Instawave Hair Curler (this hair curler curls your tendrils by simply pressing a button, the tool does the work for you, I was amazed at how great my hair turned out.) This tool automatically shuts off after 90 minutes, and can curl in any direction, from any angle. Hold for 5-10 seconds depending on what kind of curl you want to achieve, hold longer for tighter curls (my New Years Eve look) or less for beach-like waves. I would recommend trying out this tool as it is a versatile item any girl who doesn’t like to use a regular curling iron should have. I am not fond of regular curling irons because I find the curls never turn out the way I want them to and it takes too long for me to achieve the look I want.
