What to Wear on New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve is one of my favourite holidays to dress up for. So, today I wanted to share a few options for what to wear, no matter what your plans are.

You can’t go wrong with a beautiful on-trend velvet dress. This beauty is from a local Vancouver clothing boutique called Liz Fabienne. I just adore their pieces. This dress is the perfect colour, and because it’s so versatile, it will come in handy for many occasions.

What I really love about this dress is the length, it’s not too short (classy enough for office get-togethers paired with a blazer) and not too long. I like it when a dress stops around mid-knee because it doesn’t cover too much leg, which tends to make me look shorter.

I also love the v-neck and the back with the criss-cross straps. Velvet is so luxurious and is always back in season, so I definitely said yes to this dress.

In terms of jewelry, I wanted to keep it simple. This dainty necklace is from Sequin NYC and I just love it. I’ve worn their pieces so many times since receiving them. The piece I’m wearing is part of their “Be” Hidden Message collection. I love wearing it because it really provides positive vibes, especially when worn so close to your heart.
