Spring Outfit Ideas

I am in love with this ensemble, the whites, the fresh flowers and a new hairstyle I can’t wait to wear for spring. I am really feeling white denim lately because its such a versatile bottom piece that you can work in your wardrobe even now while the weather isn’t quite warm enough to style without winter essentials for those of you in the colder regions. Vancouver was sunny enough and warm to sport this look, no I am not crazy for wearing sandals in March – the weather really does permit this outfit, don’t worry.

This is a bohemian trend I am loving lately, with tousled side braids debuting on the S/S 2015 runways I wanted to showcase how it can be worn for an everyday look. I will be posting a tutorial on this hairstyle later in the week with a fun blogger collaboration in the works. If you don’t live in a warm enough region like Vancouver to pull off a shorter-sleeved tunic and sandals, don’t worry because you can easily transition this look for spring with warmer pieces such as adding a cream coloured cardigan, some booties (you could even style this with wine, or navy boots for an inspired fall look!) and if the weather still isn’t cooperating, add a chunky scarf. You won’t look weird by wearing white jeans too early because white is right this season, and pairing it with neutrals will make your look more winter appropriate.
