What to Wear To Graduation

Well the time is upon us…the questions are being brought up for what to wear to graduation, whether you are a high school senior or a college/University undergrad, it’s time to start thinking about what to wear for that very special day in your lives. With my own graduation upon me, this milestone brought me to write this post. With this exciting time in our lives hovering above us, why waste the special moments trying to think of what to wear when you could be spending quality time with your family and friends (or even saying goodbye before heading to your summer internship or position).

So I have done the leg work for you and have come up with various looks for either the fancy grad, the boho grad or even the feminine grad.

For the fancy grad, opt for a dress that elicits some sparkle, add a minimal heel so as to not distract from your dress (and make sure you can walk across the stage in them!) To finish the look, add a complimentary bag and some neutral studs.

The same can go for the boho grad, a neutral white or a dusty pink looks great on any skin tone and can be worn for multiple events afterwards too. Choose a dress that has some lacy, crochet, or embroidery detailing for that festival-like look.

For the feminine gal, try a dress that is body slimming with a few flirty details. Either go for open-toed sandals or a closed toe heel, and for a preppy vibe choose a bag that already has the colour in the dress.
