This Valentine’s Day I really wanted to show my love for my dog, Bella. This dog of mine isn’t just a pet, she’s like a little sister to me and my older sister. She has been around for about 9 years now and will be having her 10th birthday in the next month. I wanted to share this special day with her because she is getting older and I believe it’s important to cherish the time I have with her, she is quite prone to getting sick and in the past few years she has had multiple surgeries, with this development of risky events in her life I want to create memories that will last a lifetime. Photos are a true souvenir, I want to look back on these days and remember how important this dog of mine is to me. I believe that even if you don’t have a significant other in your life, Valentine’s Day is still a special time to celebrate your love for others including your sister, best friend, mother, anyone who you just want to spend time with.
With this said, I thought it would be fun to introduce a small Valentine’s Day beauty look. I achieved this particular subtle eye shadow look with my L’Oreal La Palette Nude 2. This palette is perfect for achieving a subtle but sexy look, there are different shades of eyeshadows so if you’re in the mood for a darker look opt for purple (which is what I did), if you like a softer look opt for pink and if you’re in the middle try out the colours in between the pink and purple hues.
I went for a softer look on my eyes because I knew I wanted to showcase a bolder lip, it’s always important to balance these two features out. I love the different aspect of this holiday look, instead of opting for the typical red lippie it’s nice to mix it up and play with different colours. Purple is one of my favourite colours anyways so I was very excited about my L’Oreal purchase. This palette was purchased at London Drugs but can be found at multiple drug stores throughout Canada. The price is about $30, very good for a palette that gives you such a soft approachable look.
I love these L’Oreal Professional hair styling products, the hairspray keeps my hair intact all day and the styling products are great for volumizing and texturizing.
