Why Skinceuticals Actually Works

I love trying out new skincare, and even though I’m not necessarily new to Skinceuticals, see my previous post here, I’m excited to try out their new serum. I’m a fan of Skinceuticals because it actually works, I’m going to tell you why I’m a fan of this brand, so scroll down to continue reading.

The H.A. Intensifier is the newest serum on the block from Skinceuticals. H.A. stands for Hyaluronic Acid and it’s all the rage right now. Hyaluronic Acid is actually found in our own body, and in the skin, H.A. plays an important role in maintaining skin’s biomechanical properties and helps to regulate moisture levels in the skin.

Okay, so why does this matter? Because H.A. actually attracts water throughout the skin’s layers and nourishes and hydrates the skin’s matrix. So, why is it so important? Because,

And, why is it so important? Because, a higher H.A. level correlates to skin firmness, plumpness, smoothness, and hydration. Yes, please.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I want to tell you that it actually works. I’ve been using these Skinceuticals products for over a month now and can confirm that I have much softer, smoother and brighter skin.

If you’re in your mid-20s like me, you might be wondering, why does this matter? Well, it does, because us 20 year-olds actually experience minor shadows, fine lines, and dull skin texture. You really should be taking care of your skin at an early age because it can pave the way for success into your 30s and 40s and beyond.
