Finding denim can be quite a challenge. That’s why I always like to do my research before trying on a bunch of styles, as it can be quite overwhelming at times. I like to make sure I always keep in mind the fit, the style, and the length, as I do err on the shorter side.
I found some amazing new jeans for spring from Topshop. I chose the first pair, which are black, ripped and a bit high-waisted, because of the cut and fit. They are cut right to my ankles, which is perfect because lately I have been purchasing jeans that are too long for me, and I think finding a pair that sits right at your ankles makes all the difference in the world. It also shows off your shoes better, which is perfect for all those #shoefies am I right? The black pair of jeans I purchased are the Jamie style; these are versatile and stretchy, which makes them very comfortable. These jeans look great with a statement jacket, like this amazing suede beauty from Topshop, paired with minimal accessories. I love the fit of these; I am definitely going back for the white and blue pair too. Call me crazy, but when you come across a pair that just works, you have to do everything you can to get your hands on as many as you can right?
The next pair of jeans are a bit different, with a boyfriend cut, perfect for those off-duty days and running errands. This pair is called the Hayden jean, they are very comfortable because they have a bit of a looser fit and they’re also flattering. It can be a challenge to find a flattering pair of boyfriends because, if you’re not super tall and lanky (I’m not!), sometimes the fit doesn’t work. This particular pair looked great with this on-trend khaki green cami from Topshop.
