Off-the-Shoulder Summer Dress

I’m all over the off-the-shoulder trend as of late, seriously, loving every piece of clothing with this style. It’s not only a great way to keep cool in the summer months, but it’s also a tasteful way to bare some skin. The key here is to opt for a piece that isn’t too revealing. This particular dress that I am wearing does the job because it’s not too short, doesn’t show any cleavage and isn’t too tight.

off-the-shoulder-summer-dress I am in love with every piece of jewelry I am wearing, the marble, turquoise and gold are a serious triple threat. I wanted to layer these necklaces because I thought it would give the outfit a nice pop of colour and dimension but these would look equally as great worn by themselves. The bracelets are adorable too, especially because the pom pom tassel trend is all the rage right now. I love how it’s so minimal in this particular style. off-the-shoulder-summer-dress Another local brand I love is Bare. This retailer is a wax bar, nail bar and a lash bar. Again, another triple threat. This brand was actually voted best wax and nail bar in Vancouver (and I can definitely understand why!) My nails were done by this wonderful nail bar, I would definitely recommend going to them for some pampering, and if you’re planning a bachelorette and/or a birthday party then check them out for a group party.

off-the-shoulder-summer-dress Back to my look, I chose to wear my new nude strappy heels because they are the perfect heel for the summer as the chunky style is very comfortable, and the colour can go with just about anything. In the summer, I’m all about strappy, and of course, lace-up too seen in this post here and here. I also love the bag in this post too, it’s from Chapters Indigo and is perfect for my busy 9-5 days during the week because it can hold just about anything and everything. Also, it’s 100% vegan leather so that’s a plus too.
