Okay, so I’m extremely happy that Spring is just around the corner…I mean, c’mon Vancouver it’s been pouring rain constantly and I’d like to start frolicking around in cute dresses, ya know? Rant aside, I thought I would share with my favourite beauty products with you that I’m loving right now and which I can’t wait to transition into spring with.
First up is the REN Skincare Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask. I was so excited about this product because my skin is so ready for some rescuing, what with all the snow we’ve had recently and the dry air, my skin needs a good destresser. The reason it’s so good for your skin is because for the first time ever in cosmetics REN Skincare has used an original White Mushroom Extract which de-stresses the skin by blocking the irritation and “pain” messages to the brain for an instant sensation of well-being and comfort. Yes, please. After using this product, my skin felt instantly moisturized and I felt instantly happier too.
I’m obsessed with Vichy’s newest product line Idealia because it’s specially designed for combination to oily skin (hello, that’s me) and the sorbet-cream not only smells amazing but it controls shine and it gave my skin an even tone along with a natural glow. No going to tanning salons for me. I’d highly recommend checking this line out, I’m really loving the Smoothness & Glow Mattifying sorbet-cream product but there’s so many more you can try out too.
Next is the PMD Recovery Collagen Infusing Facial Mask. This mask is specially created to hydrate and soothe the skin to minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. This felt very cooling on my skin and the face mask wasn’t too goopy.
I have been interested in Skinceuticals for quite some time now and recently I was educated a bit more about it and even got to try out some of their awesome products. I went to the Skinceuticals by Project Skin opening a few weeks ago at Richmond Centre and loved the experience, the store is beautiful and of course, I was coveting every single item. I tried the Clarifying Clay Masque and loved how it really felt like it was getting deep into my pores, and exfoliate my skin. It’s great because it’s optimal for all skin types and it left my skin feeling soft and ready for the week.
You all know I’m obsessed with Hask hair products, but I especially love their new line made with greek yogurt, yes you heard me right. This particular product line is so great because greek yogurt actually helps feed your hair with moisture and because it’s infused with blueberry & acai, these ingredients are full of powerful antioxidants. I don’t know about you, but after this winter, my hair needs all the help it can get. Apparently, blueberries help to restore damage and acai contains essential vitamins that fight breakage. Win win. Besides, it smells absolutely delicious. These Greek Yogurt Collections are available exclusively at Walgreens.
I’ve talked to you guys about these amazing NARS and Beautycounter products before, but I wanted to reiterate how much they have come in handy this winter. It’s nice to give your face a bit of colour especially when you don’t have the sun to do that for you. This NARS Multifunctional Stick is amazing because I like to put it on both my lips and cheeks, you can even put it on your eyes too. It’s soft, moisturizing and doesn’t leave me looking like a clown. Hah. From Beautycounter, I’m obsessed with the Color Shade Eye Duo because while these are neutral hues, they have a bit of shimmer to them and I find they make my eyes really pop and stand out.
Last but not least, I’ve been loving using these Sole Patches for my feet this winter because they’ve really helped to eliminate the pain and soreness from walking in heels too much. They don’t slip off your feet and you don’t have to worry about sliding forward. Random, but I think they’re definitely worth trying.
Thank you to Brandbacker for working with me on this post.
