A few months ago I spent about a week in beautiful Houston, Texas. I had never been before and was ecstatic to travel somewhere new. The purpose of our trip was visiting family, we had such a wonderful time. Continue reading for some of the must hit spots in Houston.
Make a point of stopping at The Houstonian because there are such beautiful areas where you can take a walk and enjoy the scenery. This little bungalow was perfect for taking pictures. Look at how lush this area is, too.
If you can, stop by The Houstonian and get your makeup and hair done. You will seriously feel like a million bucks. The makeup they used was all natural, by Terry Cosmetics. I haven’t had my makeup done in awhile and this was by far the most positive experience, the makeup was beautiful, and it lasted all day which I’m super happy about given the humidity in Houston.
There are a few conservatories around and I always like to check them out. It’s coobecausese different cities have various well-known flowers and are different from what I’m used to here in Vancouver.
Houston has a great selection of restaurants that are always popping up too which I found so interesting. They also have the best shopping too. We spent a few days going back and forth to The Galleria because it was just so good.
