I don’t spend that much time in Richmond and therefore don’t always know where to eat. Enter, Chop Steakhouse & Bar in Richmond.
We had the lobster rolls for an appetizer and they were incredible. So tasty, just the right amount of flavour. For an entree, I ordered the Lobster Kale & Quinoa Salad (it was amazing, so tasty and healthy too.) This is probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Another huge plus is that it was quite filling, a hard feat for a salad.
We also tried the Lobster Burger which came with a side of lobster mash, so good. Next was the delicious Lobster Linguine—it’s amazing how many tasty dishes you can create with lobster.
If you’re a fan of lobster, don’t worry because Chop has many other options to choose from. Because I’m not from Richmond, I wouldn’t know where to eat but I’m so happy I found this restaurant because not only is the food incredible, but the service is seriously on point. We had the most wonderful server, he was attentive, extremely accommodating and very knowledgable.
The ambiance is also wonderful, there are a few different meeting rooms available in the restaurant and they were decked out in a kind of medieval theme. This would be perfect for all of those Game of Thrones fans out there.
A few other snaps I took on my iPhone (excuse the quality):
Would you believe me if I told you this was a bathroom? The Chop Steakhouse & Bar was actually ranked #5 for best restrooms in all of Canada. Isn’t that amazing?
The bar is beautiful too, I loved the lighting fixtures throughout the restaurant, they were true statements.
Their patio was another perk, the outside bar was light and airy, and I especially liked how they presented the various liquor with the modern shelves.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, the ambiance, service and food are all very impressive. If you’re planning on hosting a larger party or business meeting, you should definitely look into Chop because the meeting rooms are conversation pieces in and of themselves.
