Lately, there’s been certain outfits that I’ve gravitated towards for my go-to girlboss look. I believe it’s much better to have pieces you can rework in your wardrobe for multiple purposes than a bunch of ‘trendier’ picks. Today, I’m sharing a few pieces I wear to create a sleek and stylish look whether you’re running errands or running off to meetings.
SLEEK PIECES
I love wearing my sleek and slim fitted black turtleneck with multiple looks. It’s a flattering piece which you can wear with jeans. You can even wear a skirt or over top a slip dress if you want. I find by tucking a turtleneck in, you’re also creating some definition in your waistline. Another one of my favourite pieces is my camel coloured blazer. I’ve worn this with dresses and it would even look cute with a denim skirt come spring. I think investing in a neutral blazer is a good thing. You’ll get more bang for your buck rather than wearing a brighter or printed piece. I definitely need to get a new turtleneck because they look so good with multiple outfits and they’re quite flattering when they fit tight.
ACCESSORIZE
I love this pair of tortoise shell glasses from Clearly. I’ve actually been meaning to get an updated tortoise shell style so these came at the perfect time. I love the way they fit my face, they’re not too big and they look cute with so many different outfits. I think they make you look like you mean business and glasses always make everything much more sophisticated.
TOTES
I don’t know how people can get away with using a crossbody when they have a busy day ahead. For me, I always need a tote to haul everything. (We’re talking laptops, agendas, journals, and sometimes a separate pair of shoes). I also love the idea of a neutral tote because it goes with so many more outfits.

LOVE. I really want to get a full suit (blazer and trousers), I’ve seen some other bloggers wearing them and they just scream Girl Boss. I love your take on it and I would definitely wear this outfit (I actually own a lot of similar pieces haha). I think a true girl boss outfit is wearing something that makes you feel confident and strong. You want to feel invisible!

This is a great look and is actually pretty similar to one of my recent go-to looks. I’ve been wearing my black turtleneck so much this winter since it matches just about every occasion and is both comfortable and stylish.
