Recently, a few blogger friends and I went to Hawaii. I was so excited to be able to soak up the sun and escape the city and relax. Of course, no tropical vacay would be complete without warm weather essentials. Continue reading for what I can’t travel without.
Whenever I venture off to warmer climates, I know I need to make sure I’m prepared. I never leave without the essentials: snacks, water, a good book and of course, sunscreen. My new faves are the Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Face Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 and the Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. I’ve loved Neutrogena for years and I love that they are constantly innovating!
Even though I tend to tan quite well, I definitely burn, and I’ve been really trying to be more mindful about protection in the sun. The Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Sunscreen is a mineral formula powered by Purescreen 100% Zinc Oxide technology. It provides effective broad-spectrum protection, is non-greasy and dries clear, so it can be used under makeup. Major score!
What I really love about this sunscreen is that it’s hypoallergenic, free of fragrance and is gentle enough for sensitive skin, which I have.
I’m all about efficiency, so I love that Neutrogena has sunscreen for both the face and body because they are equally as important. Sunscreen isn’t just for the warmer vacays, you should be using it all year round. Regular sunscreen actually helps keep your skin healthy just like regular exercise keeps your heart healthy. Makes total sense, right? Not only does it prevent you from looking like a tomato on vacation, but it is a proven and effective way to prevent and reduce early signs of aging (goodbye anti-aging wrinkles and brown spots!).
