I’m so excited because I am going to Europe in a few weeks (feels so surreal to say that!) and I wanted to share with you what I will be bringing in my travel beauty bag. It’s funny because when I was putting together my items for this post, it actually really helped me figure out what I should bring because I picked up items that I hadn’t thought about before but which make total sense. To start, I chose my StriVectin Overnight Replenishing Moisture Mask which is perfect for the plane because flying always tends to dry out your skin and therefore dehydrate it. This product is great for achieving moisturized skin and rehydrating it from a long day of travel. It’s nice because you keep it on your skin all night and in the morning when you wash it off, you can really feel how soft your skin gets. I have been using it a lot lately because my skin is more exposed to the sunlight and I want to protect it.Of course, no beauty bag would be complete without Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads, and I love these from Almay because the container is small enough to stash for traveling and the pads are very effective, they even take off waterproof mascara without leaving any residue.Because traveling can take a toll on your skin, it’s important to make sure you don’t stray away from your nightly skincare regimen. To help me feel at ease with knowing my skin will be looked after while on holidays, I am taking my Soy Face Cleanser from Fresh. This is a gentle cleanser for both face & eyes and it smells so refreshing too. Also, once again, it’s nice and small so it won’t take up a lot of counter space. To go after the cleanser, I included the Rose Face Mask from Fresh because it helps hydrate & tone your face, also, it smells amazing too.My two trusty Mereadesso products have always been my go-to for traveling because they are travel sized and very handy to have around. I love using the Face + Neck Cleanser because it also triples as a makeup remover, face wash and toner. It’s easy to use and a simple way to keep your face clean and well maintained. Another product I love is the All-In-One Moisturizer, this is great because while traveling your face can get quite dried out from the change in climate and moisturizing is important to keep your skin feeling fresh and hydrated. (This also works as a cosmetic primer too, score!)Something quite random, but completely necessary is this Sole Serum which soothes sore feet. Perfect for using after a night of dancing am I right ladies?I also highly recommend grabbing a Peppermint Halo Headache Remedy from Saje because it takes place of your Advill, Tylenol pills and instantly gets rid of headaches and migraines. You don’t want a silly headache to get in the way of all your fun travels now do you? It’s small and light enough to stash in your cross body and it smells wonderful too.Because your hair can get quite damaged while traveling from various reasons (too much chlorinated pools, sun damage, etc) this Bamboo Oil from Hask is a great addition to bring along. It strengthens your hair while producing shiny ends, it also reinforces & nourishes your tresses so you’re ready for a fun day in the sun.You should always carry lotion with you, but I know it can be daunting to carry a lot in your purse while on the go, so that’s why I love this Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Lotion with SPF 15. It’s super tiny but effective.Last but definitely not least is the awesome Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist from REN Clean Skincare. This is a product you might not regularly consider, but I urge you to look into it because it reduces the affect of pollution on your skin which can be quite harmful, it also feels refreshing to spritz it on top of your makeup after a long day out in the sun. Another wonderful attribute to this mist is the fact that it strengthens the skin’s natural defences against oxidative stress which boosts the skin’s ability to detoxify. While traveling should be relaxing, it can be quite stressful at times too, don’t let it get the better of your skin, take care of it and you will have a wonderful time! (One less thing to worry about and more time to enjoy your vacation!)
I hope these tips helped you, do you have any of your own that you would like to share? I would love to hear your comments below or if you have any recommendations that I haven’t shared, please email me at krystin_tysire@hotmail.com 🙂
