Vacation Pieces You Need this Summer

With Summer right around the corner, I thought putting together a little vacation must-haves post would be perfect. I recently got back from Hawaii and wanted to share a few of the pieces I picked up.

If you’re looking for affordable but trendy clothes and accessories this summer, then make sure you stop by Saks OFF 5^TH.

Because I was heading to a tropical destination with a laid-back vibe, I knew comfortable but chic pieces would come in handy.

Rompers

One of my favourite pieces I picked up was this red polka dot romper from Saks OFF 5^TH. It’s super comfortable and lightweight enough for the warm weather. I also fell in love with the cut-out and bow details. Saks OFF 5^TH had a ton of amazing rompers. Also, polka dots are a huge trend right now so I’m happy I scored a piece in that print. I think this style is perfect because you can wear white sneakers during the day while exploring and switch it up with heels during the nighttime.

Comfortable Heels

Speaking of heels, I was so excited to find these grey sandals from Steve Madden at Saks OFF 5^TH. These were the only pair of heels I brought. Because Hawaii is pretty chill, you can definitely get away with packing only 1 pair of heels. Not to mention, the colour is extremely versatile. Saks OFF 5^TH has a huge shoe selection with tons of incredible brands to choose from for half the price. I even had my eyes on a pair of espadrilles which I will probably go back for.

Lightweight Dresses

Back to the outfits. Another piece I picked up for Hawaii was this baby blue hibiscus print dress (conveniently, Hawaii’s national flower). I knew this lightweight loose-fitting dress would be perfect! I actually wore it a few times, once when I was out exploring the bustling city of Honolulu which I paired it with my white sneakers. And again, for the incredible luau at our hotel. This dress went perfectly with my grey sandals from Steve Madden. I love the V-neck style and that this dress isn’t too short. Plus, it was awesome wearing a dress that was looser fitting, so I could really indulge in the delicious feast from the luau. I’ll definitely be wearing it much more over the summer.

Accessories

Saks OFF 5^TH also offers tons of accessories. Don’t travel to Hawaii without a hat because the sun’s rays are quite strong. In fact, anywhere you’re headed this summer, you should definitely bring a sun hat, sunglasses and sandals (low and high). Don’t forget to bring a light cardigan for those chilly evenings, a straw tote, cover up for the beach and some cute swimwear!
