As sad as it is to bid farewell to the summer, I’m excited to update my wardrobe for the new fall season ahead. I’ve rounded up my favorite fall trends you need now.
Dark Florals
Because it’s still quite warm in September, I knew I could get away with wearing a maxi dress because of the dark floral print. I picked up this dress from Kohl’s, I love it because there are built in shorts underneath, so I don’t have to worry about it not being appropriate. I love the V-neck cut and the colors in it as well. I’m going to pair it with booties next time too.
Slim-Fit Pants
These pants are my new favorite addition to my wardrobe. I picked these in Kohl’s where they also had this amazing lined blazer and a white button-up blouse. Are you heading to work in the fall after graduating? This is the perfect workwear look because it’s comfortable, appropriate and all the pieces are super versatile. Kohl’s had tons of great pieces that fit in the budget and make great add-ons to your capsule wardrobe for fall.
High-Waisted Jeans
It wouldn’t be fall without getting a new pair of jeans, am I right? I love this high-waisted pair from Kohl’s – they’re stretchy, comfortable and just the right length for me. That’s what I love about shopping in the Juniors section, I don’t have to get my pants hemmed. I also love a dark wash because you can style them in a variety of ways, and if your workplace allows, you can wear them too and still look put together.
Comfy Sweaters
The sweater is a piece I have seen come back in a big way this year. It’s definitely becoming more popular to wear as a part of your fashion-forward pieces instead of just everyday wear. I really love this cropped grey sweater from Kohl’s because it feels more put together with high-waisted jeans. Whether you’re hanging out in a classroom, running errands or catching a flight, this is the perfect comfy outfit for the new season ahead.
