The One Thing You Need to Do Before Summer Ends

Summer in BC is beautiful. I’ve been so grateful and happy to spend my summer here and embrace the natural beauty this province has to offer. Since summer is almost over (cue tears), I wanted to share the one thing you need to do before summer ends.

Summer Bucket List Item:

Take (about) an hour drive out to the beautiful area of Cultus where Cultus Lake awaits you. There is so much to do in Cultus, but one thing that’s always on my summer bucket list? Boating, for sure. Don’t own one yourself? That’s totally fine. You can rent a boat from the incredible team at Cultus Lake Marina.

I rented a boat from them last year and was thrilled to be able to do it again. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and very accommodating.

What really stood out to me was how safe they made this experience for us. If you’re a driver of the boat, you have to watch a safety video learning all about how to maneuver and drive the boat. I thought this was excellent—they make sure you feel comfortable before getting out onto the water.

Not only is it all about safety first, but this rental experience was seamless. Everything was so easy and quick. They even gave us some ice cream and Gatorade which I thought was a nice touch.

Being out on the water boating is one of my favourite must-haves of the summer season. The boat we rented was beautiful—think creamy white leather, tons of storage and space and easy to maneuver on the lake. They have a variety of boats you can rent along with sea doos. Boating with Cultus Lake Marina definitely made this summer one for the books.
