Back to school season is back and that means you’re busier than ever, right? I totally feel you—that’s why I wanted to share this easy and fun hairstyle with Bed Head Styling. Continue reading for the tutorial.
DIVIDE YOUR HAIR INTO SECTIONS
I started with dividing my hair into sections to help me achieve the look I wanted. Make sure to start with clean, blow-dried hair and of course use a heat protectant spray before using any hot tools on your hair.
I started with the bottom section of my hair and curled it like so.
For my full curls, I used the Bed Head Curlipops™ 1 1/2″ Jumbo Pop Styling Iron. This tool is great for achieving big curls and creating volume. I don’t have super thick or voluminous hair, so I was excited to try this out. Verdict? It definitely gave my hair the volume it needs. What I loved about this tool is the barrel provides loose, touchable volume with a clamp-free wrap-and-go design which won’t make you late to class.
After finishing up with the bottom half, I moved onto the top half.
After my entire head was curled, I wanted to do something that would keep the hair out of my face but would still look good. Enter, the half up half down ponytail.
I love this look because it’s something different than I typically do and takes no time at all.
