ADD A BLAZER

A blazer will always elevate any look. To bring out the rust tone in this camisole, I paired it with a colour I knew would complement it well. Because the blazer has darker and light checks running through it, it brings out the colour of the cami. Plus, a blazer and cami combo is a match made in heaven.

I feel like if you’re already wearing a stand out colour, it should be accommodated with neutral accessories. These block heels are the perfect fall heel. I’m digging the pointed-toe (always makes you look taller) and the nude colour. Additionally, my bag is neutral too, so it doesn’t take away from the overall look.

Typically, rust is a colour that is inspired by the 70’s. Therefore, to keep this look modern, I wanted a piece that I knew would be versatile enough for the season ahead. Enter, a satin camisole that can be worn a variety of ways. You can wear this with a blazer as I did, tucked into a pencil or leather skirt, paired underneath a knit and just shown peeking out, or dress pants for the office.
