In this day and age of life getting busier and busier, it’s no wonder the majority of us can’t get to sleep at night. For me, I have a hard time turning my mind off as I’m constantly inundated with to-do lists and of course, keeping up with social media. If you’re like me and can’t catch some zzz’s at night, then continue reading for my 5 no-fail tips.

Lavender Pillow Spray
I’ve been using lavender pillow spray for months and swear by it. Not only does it smell amazing, but lavender is proven to help induce sleep. It also helps you relax and prevents stress which is exactly what you want when your head hits the pillow at night.
2. Melatonin
I’ve been taking melatonin for over a year and have felt it’s really helped. Melatonin is a hormone that regulates the body’s natural sleep (keyword, natural, read: no sleeping pills here) and wake cycles. Your brain actually produces melatonin in the pineal gland located in the center of the brain. What happens is right before bedtime, melatonin levels in the blood are at their highest. Therefore, melatonin supplements have been shown to improve sleep and even help with jet lag. (Make sure to take only as directed by the manufacturer and discontinue use if you need to.)
3. Pick Up Some Noise-Masking Sleepbuds
Before I picked up my Bose® noise-masking sleepbuds™, I was using good ol’ fashioned earplugs. However, I stopped recently because I felt they just weren’t effective (or environmentally friendly) enough. That’s when I switched to these life-changing sleepbuds.
If you’re always on the go like me and tend to spend time in hotels and on airplanes, you might want to give these a try. Bose® noise-masking sleepbuds™ block out noise so you can get the rest you deserve. Instead of streaming music (which always keeps me up), they deliver soothing sounds that cover up unwanted nighttime noises. (Cough cough, my dog snoring at night). These sleepbuds are a game changer. The best part is, they’re super comfortable and made to stay in place all night long, even if you sleep on your side.
These sleepbuds provide up to 16 hours of use off one charge. They have rechargeable batteries and case. As such, the technology used for the sleepbuds™ is also used in applications like hearing aids, so these batteries are safe for wearable applications. Another fun fact? There is a Bose® sleep app which enables you to set wake-up alarms that only you can hear, so you won’t disturb the person sleeping next to you. More features and soothing sounds will be available through future software updates.
You can buy Bose® noise-masking sleepbuds™ at Best Buy or BestBuy.com!
4. Chamomile Tea
I’m a huge tea fanatic and chamomile is such a nice way to help my body relax at night. Just remember not to add lemon because as it’s a citrus scent, it’s known to boost energy. Grab your reading socks, a good book and some chamomile tea, it’s a triple threat if you ask me.
5. Put Down the Phone
I know we’re all guilty of this, but seriously, put down the phone right before bed. I used to watch Instagram stories right before bed but I had to stop because it wasn’t making me tired. In fact, it was making me hyper seeing what everyone got up to that day lol. I actually put my phone on airplane mode from now on so I don’t get woken up. It’s the best.
Want to check out these awesome sleepbuds for yourself? I picked them up at Best Buy, also available at BestBuy.com

Airplane mode is a good idea, especially since it seems like a lot of notifications slip through “do not disturb” mode. These earbuds sound awesome too, especially since they have the soothing sounds!
