How to Style Leopard Print and Dad Sneakers this Fall

I’m falling for the trends this season if you can’t tell on my Instagram feed. Leopard print and dad sneakers, in particular, are two trends I’m seriously coveting. So without ado, I thought I would share some tips on how to style both of these trends this season.

1. Add Edge

Something like leopard print is a statement, so pairing it with a classic but edgy piece is always my top advice. For instance, a leather jacket is perfect—if you’re feeling a bit apprehensive about wearing a leopard print dress (as opposed to a shirt), I find a leather jacket subdues (but adds edge) to the look.

Same goes for styling the ever Insta famous dad sneakers. Par them down with pieces you would already wear in your wardrobe, such as a leather jacket. I’m definitely on board with dad sneakers because I’m always in heels and it’s nice to give my feet a break without sacrificing style.

2. Accessorize

In my opinion, adding chic accessories to a look always amps it up. As such, I’m obsessed with these Raybans I recently picked up from SmartBuyGlasses.ca. I’ve been eyeing these particular shades for quite some time and I was so happy to pick them up from one of the largest eyewear e-retailers out there. I’ve also got my eyes on this pair too, so cute. 3. Be Minimal

If you’re ever worried about pulling off a ‘louder’ trend such as leopard print, my advice is to go minimal. For instance, keep your jewelry and accessories simple. Don’t go for a bright bag or shoe, opt for neutrals because leopard print is already quite ostentatious.

4. Opt for Basics

If you’re planning on wearing a leopard print top instead of a dress, pair with some basics to elevate your look. Opt for straight leg jeans, or even a leather skirt looks chic. Same for a leopard print skirt, I’ve been eyeing the famous Realisation Par one for months. If you do go for the leopard print skirt look, try pairing it with a basic tee—looks so effortless.
