You guys know I’m all about everything hair. However, what you might not know is I’ve been looking for an all-natural haircare brand for a while. And the result? I finally found one I like.
Enter, Biotera Natural Origin. Biotera Natural Origin is free of sulfates, silicones, parabens and dyes. Additionally, it uses biodegradable formulas and 100% recyclable packaging. Doing double duty for your hair and the Earth, score.
I picked up the NURTURE line which is perfect for dry hair—and color-treated tresses. It’s enriched with nourishing coconut oil and honey and smells delicious. With up to 97% naturally derived ingredients, the salon professional line offers a high-quality alternative to Biolage® R.A.W. for less.

My hair hasn’t been in the best condition due to recently coloring it and my excessive use of heat tools. Since using Natural Origin, my hair is restored. I can also achieve that beautiful blow out I want because my hair is healthier.
The Natural Origin collection features seven color-safe products. These products gently restore beauty and radiance, delivering the honest-to-goodness healthy hair you need to achieve salon perfection.

Switch to Sulfate Free
Recently, my hairstylist recommended I switch to sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Typically, sulfates strip hair of its natural oils and can also cause your hair color to fade. Thankfully, my new Biotera Natural Origin Shampoo and Conditioner are free of sulfates.
Mask-Away
Your hair needs all the babying it can get. For this reason, I always use a hair mask at least once a week to help create smooth and silky strands. I’ve been using the Biotera Natural Origin NURTURE Moisturizing Masque and I love it. I just use a small amount on clean, damp hair and work through mid-shaft to my ends. Then, I massage it thoroughly and rinse out after 3 minutes. Silky smooth and smells like honey, win-win.
Cool it Down
To maintain the health of your strands, make sure to wash your hair with lukewarm water instead of scalding. Hot water strips away the natural oils that protect your hair. The colder water will help seal your hair cuticle making it smoother. This also helps with frizz and keeps your strands shiny.
Want to try Biotera Natural Origin for yourself? I picked up my trio from Sally Beauty!
